Your journey day by day
Day 1Welcome to Hwange
Meet our representative at Victoria Falls or Hwange Airport and transfer to Robins Camp in northern Hwange National Park. The road journey from Victoria Falls takes approximately three to four hours.
Settle into camp and enjoy refreshments before your first afternoon game drive. Explore the plains and waterholes with your guide, then return for dinner and a relaxed evening.
Day 2Game drives in Hwange
Head out after an early breakfast for a morning game drive. Explore different parts of Hwange, watching for elephant herds, buffalo, antelope and predators.
Return to camp for lunch and time to rest. An afternoon game drive brings another chance to follow wildlife activity before sunset and dinner at Robins Camp.
Day 3Victoria Falls and a Zambezi cruise
After breakfast, travel by road to Victoria Falls, a journey of approximately three to four hours. Check in at Elephant Hills Resort and join your guide for a walk through the Falls rainforest, stopping at the main viewpoints.
In the late afternoon, cruise the Zambezi River at sunset. Enjoy the river scenery and watch for hippos, crocodiles and wildlife along the banks before returning to the resort.

Day 4Explore Victoria Falls and enjoy the Boma
Spend the day at your own pace in Victoria Falls. Relax at the resort, browse the town’s craft shops or ask our team to arrange an optional activity.
In the evening, enjoy the Boma Dinner & Drum Show, with traditional dishes, music and an opportunity to join the drumming. Return to Elephant Hills Resort for your final night at the Falls.

Day 5Across the border to Chobe
Leave Victoria Falls after breakfast and cross into Botswana for your Chobe safari. Begin with a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River, watching for elephants, hippos, crocodiles and birdlife.
Enjoy lunch before an afternoon game drive through the park’s riverfront and woodland habitats. Afterwards, settle into Travelodge Kasane for the night.
Day 6Chobe by land and water
Begin with an early game drive, making the most of the cooler hours and morning light. Return to your lodge for lunch and a break.
In the afternoon, head back onto the Chobe River for another wildlife cruise. Take time to watch the animals at the water’s edge before returning to Travelodge Kasane.
Day 7Elephant Sands and its waterhole
Travel from Kasane to Elephant Sands and check into the lodge. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon before a game drive in the surrounding reserve.
Back at the lodge, spend time watching the central waterhole for visiting elephants. Dinner and an evening at camp round off the day.
Day 8The Makgadikgadi salt pans
After breakfast, continue towards Gweta and the Ntwetwe Salt Pan, a drive of approximately two to three hours. Explore the open salt-pan landscapes, with time to appreciate the wide horizons and quiet surroundings.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the Gweta and salt-pan area. Your quote will confirm whether this night is at Gweta Lodge or a salt-pan campsite; the programme is arranged around your chosen stay and local conditions.
Day 9Onward to Maun and the Okavango
Travel to Maun after breakfast, a journey of approximately two to three hours. Continue to Semowi Nature Camp, your base for the next stage of the safari.
Settle in and enjoy a quieter afternoon before your Delta and Moremi experiences. There is time to relax at camp and prepare for the next day’s excursion.

Day 10An Okavango mokoro excursion
Explore the Okavango waterways by mokoro, a traditional canoe guided by a local poler. Glide between reeds and lily pads, watching for birds and wildlife along the channels.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your Delta excursion before continuing the day’s exploration. Return to Semowi Nature Camp for dinner and another night.
Day 11A full-day safari in Moremi
Set out early for a full-day game drive in Moremi Game Reserve. Explore its floodplains, woodland and lagoons with your guide, looking for elephants, buffalo, antelope and predators.
Enjoy lunch in the reserve before continuing your game drive into the afternoon. Return to Semowi Nature Camp for your final safari evening.
Day 12Departure from Maun
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Maun Airport for your onward flight. Allow approximately 45 minutes for the road transfer, with the pickup time confirmed around your departure.
